The Australian Institute of Conveyancers WA Division Inc presents annual awards to the outstanding conveyancing firm, individual conveyancer and a member of the profession who is not a conveyancer.

These awards are based on nominations received from members and reflect those firms/persons who have contributed significantly to the industry in the preceding 12 months. The awards are presented at our Gala Awards Dinner with nominations sought in the months leading up to the dinner.

The categories of the awards are outlined below. Nominations must be submitted via the links provided below. Nominations close 5pm (WST) on 7 October 2024.

Betty Quelch Award
For excellence in the performance of a Settlement Agency, nominated by Members.

Valerie Haskins Sole Operator Award
For excellence by a Sole Operator – nominated by AICWA member peers.

Dorothy Peacock Award
For outstanding contribution by an individual to the Conveyancing Industry in WA, nominated by Members.

Bruce Thurston Award
For outstanding contribution by an individual to the Conveyancing Industry in WA, not employed in a Conveyancing role, nominated by Members.

Judith Pinczuk Employee Choice Award
Recognising an individual who excels in their support role as a valued employee – nominated by the Employer Member.

Life Members
Life Members are a select category of Honourary members who are Conveyancers awarded Life Membership of the Institute in recognition of the contributions they have made to the Industry. Nominated by a member, awarded by the Council.
